Europe Harmon is the Assistant Manager of the Motors Division for the City of Newark, NJ.
The Motors Division is responsible for keeping Newark's 1600 vehicles running smoothly. These vehicles are used by the Police, Fire and Sanitation departments, among others.
Europe works in the background, overseeing the city's fuel usage, while exploring new technologies to keep the city streamlined at the pumps as well as on the floors where the mechanics work.
Europe's most impressive recent achievement was to draft an overview of an upgraded fueling system with new technology that would secure the city's fuel, and provide a more seamless way of getting fuel at the pumps with built-in reporting software. This proposal was presented to the City Council, which approved $1.2 million to implement the upgrade. Europe then oversaw the operation of upgrading four fueling sites around the city. He now functions as the go to person for all data related reports from this new platform.
Europe is also a SAG/AFTRA actor, with 23 years in the union.
